So, who am I?

Andrea Meza, LSW
The clinical stuff
I am a therapist with a warm, person-centered, and inclusive approach to care. I believe therapy is most effective when it honors the whole person—beyond labels, symptoms, or diagnoses. Your lived experiences, values, and goals guide our work together, and the therapeutic relationship is central to my practice, built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration.
As we move through life, we are exposed to many different challenges and forms of trauma that can make navigating the world feel overwhelming.
However, provided the right support and tools, it is possible to learn a new way of living with greater confidence, clarity and resiliency.
My educational and professional experiences have allowed me to work in rural and urban communities, and it has been an honor to support individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Throughout my social work journey, I have primarily worked in the nonprofit sector—including community-based and home-based services—as well as within the healthcare field. In addition to clinical work, I am passionate about macro social work—advocating for systemic change through policy, legislation, and community-level reform. This interest has led me to work at the Colorado State Capitol.

I was born and raised in a small town in Colorado and have lived along the Front Range for the past ten years—so you could say I am a Colorado girl through and through. When I’m not cheering on Colorado sports teams, I enjoy exploring creative outlets such as paint-by-number projects, nail design, and various DIY hobbies.
I am a first-generation American, as my parents immigrated to the United States from Mexico, and being bicultural is an important part of who I am. This experience has given me unique insight into what it can feel like to grow up as an “outsider” but to also find the strength I needed to persevere. Through both my lived experience and clinical training, I strive to offer a therapeutic space where you feel understood, empowered, and
